DEEPAVALI the Most important Festival among Hindu's

Deepavali (Diwali),is a most important Hindu religion festival ,celebrated all over India,especially in South India.This festival comes always on the fifteenth day of Karthika.Deepavali is known as the festival of lights. In our earlier days ,I remembers,our homes were cleaned during Deepavali days.This is a good sign to Greet Mahalekshmi to our Home.Mahalekshmi is the godess of wealth.The lights were lit as many as to greet Lakshmi to our house.Deepavali is celebrated as a five day festival in most part of Tamilnadu,Karnataka and a few parts of Palghat,Thrissur and Trivandrum in Kerala.

The first day's importance comes to Lord Dhanwanthari,who is the lord of health.All belives,that the Dhanwanthari moorthy came out with some medicines which is essential for our long healthy life. This day marks the beginning of Deepavali celebrations.

The Second day is for the worship of Lord Krishna.The second day of deepavali is also known as Naraka Chaturdasi.This days importance is Lord Krishna destroyed the Cruel Naraka Asura and made the world with peace and prosperity.In some areas Mahakali the Godess of strength is worshipped.This means we leaves the lazyness and fear from our minds and brings glory to our life.

The third day is the Actual Deepavali.This day the mother Mahalekshmi is worshipped.This is for to achive the blessings of devine Godess Lakshmi for better Health and Wealth throughout the year.Many types of Sweets were made during the Deepavali days and exchange the same to nearby homes.Fireworks is also performed.

The fourth day Govrdhana pooja is performed.

The Fifth day celebrations is dedicated to our Sisters.This day all Brothers will enquire about the welfare of our Sisters ,and give them Dresses and Gifts.At the movement the Sisters prays for her brother's safety and well wishes throughout the year.This is a brief descreption of Deepavali.
